👟Let’s walk, Seneca County!👟

Say hello to Walking Wednesdays, a new initiative by Seneca County General Health District and Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce to help our community move more and feel better—one step at a time. Whether it’s a stroll with coworkers, a walk in the park with friends, or a lunchtime lap around the block, Walking Wednesdays encourages you to take a break and take a walk.

Why Join Walking Wednesdays?
According to the Seneca County Community Health Assessment, many local residents are facing challenges like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and mental health struggles. But there’s good news—walking is one of the simplest ways to improve your health.

We’ll soon introduce contests and competitions where you can win prizes and challenge others in your workplace or neighborhood. For now, show us your steps! Post a photo in the comments of you walking with your coworkers, friends, or family during your Wednesday walk in Seneca County.

Let’s walk together and build a healthier, stronger community!
