Tiny Paws Rescue Small breed dog rescue and non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of abused dogs.

We receive absolutely no funding from anyone and solely rely on adoption fees that are based the cost care for each dog taken in and rely on our Foster Home and Volunteer network for help. Our dogs come from shelters, animal control, puppy mills, as well as owner turn-ins. They are immediately taken to our veterinarian for a complete physical examination. They are spayed or neutered, checked for both heart and intestinal worms, receive appropriate treatments and then appropriately vaccinated.

Two weeks since Tiny Paws Rescue Gizmo had double knee surgery and he is still at the vet. Unfortunately he is still not walking on his own😢🙏😢 We need strong prayers for this little nugget.

It's been almost 2 weeks since Tiny Paws Rescue Gizmo had his double knee surgery and is still at the vet clinic. He is finally making progress with his walking and his catheter was removed this morning 🙏💓

It's been 10 days since Tiny Paws Rescue Gizmo's surgery. Unfortunately Gizmo wasn't doing well so he been at the vet for one week and continuing to stay there 😢. He is struggling with walking and has a UTI. Finally good news! He was able to take couple of steps with sling assistance. Let's send Gizmo some strong prayers🙏

Update this morning from vet tech caring for Tiny Paws Gizmo..(Gizmo had double knee surgery past Tues, went home Wed, wasn't doing well so back to the vet and has been there since😢🙏

Good morning, this is Jordan with NVC. Sweet boy Gizmo is doing well today. His vitals are all normal and I took him outside for a little sling walk. I stretched the back legs a little bit to hopefully get him to start moving them more. I saw him move the back left leg a little bit on our walk but not too much. He really doesn’t like his oral medications but we have been able to get him to take them. He did not urinate overnight but did have a small bowel movement. I checked his bladder and it wasn’t too big so I am going to keep an eye on him throughout the day to make sure he urinates. Right now sweet boy is resting comfortably in his kennel.

Welcome Tiny Paws Rescue Lady!!! Her Mom of 10yrs has terminal cancer and is in Hospice😢 Lady is 10yr of age and has been her Mom's service dog. Lady Is absolutely amazing, housebroken, loves all, amazing on car rides, loves walks does great on outings and a big snuggle bug. She goes to the vet tomorrow to see what is needed. UPDATE Gizmo will be staying back at the vet clinic at least till Monday and we will go from there 🙏🙏🙏

Tiny Paws Gizmo is not doing well after his double knee surgery he had done on Tuesday. We are going back to the vet this morning, he can't stand even with the assistance of a sling❤️🙏❤️

Tiny Paws Gizmo is back home, now recovery 🙏. Cage rest for 8wks, 3x a day physical therapy. Sling assistance to potty since he can't stand on his own. He is in lots of pain and discomfort even with the pain meds but very normal with double patella surgery ❤️🙏

UPDATE on Tiny Paws Rescue Gizmo and Emma. Both babies had their surgeries yesterday and both are doing well in recovery at the Vet clinic.
Gizmo had a double patella surgery, It will be challenging for the first week since both legs were done but soon he will be feeling much better.

Unfortunately Emma's leg was not completely due to a leg deformity at birth. On top of that she had trauma to the leg. The surgeon tried to save the leg but it was so far gone. Nothing could have corrected the knee or the hip. Her leg had to be amputated. Her other hind leg is an issue as well. The hip is not stable and she might need a complete hip replacement. We will start physical therapy to strengthen that hip and follow back with the surgeon next month to discuss more options.
