Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub

Less than two weeks away! See you at there!

ICYMI: What if the people who support entrepreneurs had to pitch themselves?

That’s exactly what’s happening at the Mid-Columbia Innovation Hub’s September HubTalk: Reverse Pitch on Thursday, September 10th starting at 5:30 pm at Columbia Gorge Community College - Hood River.

Instead of founders taking the stage, accelerators, lenders, support organizations, and other entrepreneurial resources get two minutes to make their case for why you should know them.

Then the tables turn. Meet them face to face, ask questions, discover resources and make connections that could help move your business forward.

With organizations including Business Oregon, Craft3, Built Oregon, MESO PDX, Oregon UAS Accelerator, USDA, and many more already on the lineup, this is a great chance to find out who’s in your corner.

No pitch deck. No prep. No pressure. Just show up, listen, connect and find the resources that fit what you’re building.

If you’re building a business in the Mid-Columbia region, this one is worth putting on the calendar.

And the winner is... Vibe Consignment!

Even a power outage couldn't stop us -- Kaahreena walks away as the Grand Prize winner with a $10,000 check!

Second place was awarded to Iliana Maura, walking away with $2000.

Our three runners up walked with $1000 each, and a hour consultation with Narwhal Law and Business Strategy. A special mention to Tenn Tools for our crowd favorite and an extra $1000! Great work to Brick City & Games and Hilltopados for their pitches and accomplishments at the finals!

Two makers. Two different roads from craft to commerce.
Join us for a HubTalk panel with Tonia Farman (Farman Creative) and Dyana Fiediga (The Clay Commons) — a conversation for anyone who's wondered whether their craft could be a business, or is already in it and stuck on what comes next. Pricing, pivots, and the parts of the story that don't make the highlight reel.
