NCA Camp is SWEET 🩵🍦✨ We went on a well deserved ice cream/frozen yogurt run after a full day of camp! Both teams received spirit sticks AND received blue Superior ribbons in their camp evaluations today. We can’t wait for final day competitions tomorrow!

That blue ribbon feeling 💙 Both our Varsity and our combined JV/F teams received blue Superior ribbons at our first camp evaluations today in the Band Chant and Situational Chant categories! Our Varsity team also received the Herkie Team Award, which is an award voted on by the other teams at camp. We are so proud!🎉

Our last Senior Spotlight post goes out to Victor Blasius! Victor was a two-year member of TCHS cheer and will be missed dearly. After graduation, he plans to take a gap year while continuing to cheer at Cheer Athletics and work in his family business. After his gap year, he plans to attend Trinity Valley Community College.

His favorite cheer memory: “Making finals at UIL this year.”

His advice for the younger cheerleaders: “Stay in school, kids.”

Good luck in the future, Victor! We love you and can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

Our next Senior Spotlight post goes out to Graci Herington! Graci was a four-year member of TCHS cheer and will be missed dearly. She will be attending Texas Women’s University this fall as a member of the STUNT team, and will be majoring in criminal justice.

Her favorite cheer memory: “The football games! They were so long and hot but all of my best memories in cheer were at the games.”

Her advice for the younger cheerleaders: “Be yourself and don’t compare yourself to others. Have fun and soak up every moment because it’ll be over before you know it.”

Good luck in the future, Graci! We love you and can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

Our first Senior Spotlight post goes out to our ‘25-‘26 Varsity Captain, Chandyn Caldwell! Chandyn was a four-year member of TCHS cheer and will be missed dearly. She will be attending Texas Christian University this fall and will be majoring in fashion merchandising.

Her favorite cheer memory: “My favorite cheer memory would be camp last year when we stayed up talking until 3 am and I got really close with a lot of my teammates!”

Her advice for the younger cheerleaders: “Don’t take any of the opportunities for granted and live each day to the fullest!”

Good luck in the future, Chandyn! We love you and can’t wait to see all you accomplish!
