ID Studio Theater 20 years of theater, music, and dance for, with, and by immigrants.

Founded in 2001, ID Studio is a non-profit arts organization committed to providing communities with culturally innovative ways to express and address obstacles faced by newly arrived immigrants and low-income families. It’s pedagogy is designed to generate interest in theater and provide a safe space for immigrants to participate and preserve the richness of their cultural practices in light of t

he daily grind of living and working in NYC. iD Studio helps communities promote either rich cultures and develop tools that advance leadership and community building.

Hoy, en nuestra primera noche en Cali, visitamos Bar Latino, el templo de Gary Domínguez, discómano y guardián de la memoria salsera. Entre paredes tapizadas de fotos, afiches y discos de los grandes, escuchar este saludo fue un regalo que no olvidaremos.

Mañana llevamos Arsenio a T**a Tolondra, otro templo sagrado del movimiento salsero global. 6pm. Allá nos vemos, Cali. 🇨🇴
