🚨🍎 ATTENTION PLAZA B: Extra Grocery Money for Summer Break! ☀️🏖️

💳 Starting June 16, eligible children will receive a one-time $120 deposit on their own Summer EBT card to help purchase groceries during the summer.

✅ Most children do NOT need to apply!

Children ages 6–16 are automatically approved if they are enrolled in:

🥫 SNAP (Food Stamps)
💵 Cash Assistance
🏥 Medicaid
🍽️ Free or Reduced-Price School Meals

📬 Think your child qualifies but haven't received a notice by June 16?

Did you know you may qualify for free tax return preparation? Operation Pathways is helping residents access valuable financial resources, including free assistance through the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs.

· VITA offers help to those who generally make $67,000 or less, people with disabilities, and limited English speakers.

· TCE specializes in supporting seniors with pension and retirement questions.

When some of our Plaza residents couldn’t make it out to the Rain Mobile Kitchen food truck, Sofia stepped up and became the food delivery hero we didn’t know we needed! 🚗🍴 With a big heart and a smile, she made sure everyone got their meals, spreading kindness one plate at a time. 🙌🏽💛
