What began as “just a job” became a life-changing encounter with Jesus. ❤️
Hilda joined our Lima medical campaign as an interpreter because she needed the income. Though hesitant at first about working with a Christian ministry, she faithfully served alongside our team all week.
Assigned to the eyeglasses station, Hilda spent day after day interpreting the Gospel message as patients received care and prayer. By Thursday, after hearing the message of Jesus shared over and over again, Hilda realized her own need for a Savior.
While interpreting for a patient who was praying to receive Christ, Hilda quietly prayed too — giving her own life to Jesus. 🙏
She told us, “I came because I needed money… but I received something much greater. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior.”
