Employers can be a significant source of that support by offering effective workplace accommodations and access to recovery options that can save a person’s life. This National Recovery Month, check out EARN’s “Substance Use Disorder in the Workplace” page to learn more about creating a mental health-friendly, recovery-ready workplace.

Quality Apprenticeships for Job Seekers with Disabilities
The federal government wants to enroll one million active apprentices in Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs) across the nation. Increasingly, states are improving job seekers’ opportunities to access RAPs, or in some cases, creating apprenticeship programs within state government. Read more in a new brief developed by ODEP’s State Exchange on Employment and Disability in partnership with the National Conference of State Legislatures. https://www.ncsl.org/labor-and-employment/quality-apprenticeship-opportunities-for-individuals-with-disabilities
