The Journal of Global Rights and Organizations and Impunity Watch News would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the friends and family of our former Impunity Watch Staff Writer, Dr. Zaiden Geriage Neto.

At the College of Law, Zaiden was a passionate and brilliant LLM student. In his home country Brazil, he was a highly regarded class action lawyer and law professor. He made a profound impact on this earth through academia, his writings and the love and passion he had for his community, family, colleagues and students.

We are honored to produce this article tribute regarding the need for COVID-19 vaccinations in the rural communities in Brazil on behalf of Zaiden.

It’s not too late to RSVP! Join us for this panel event moderated by our very own Professor Cora-True Frost.

Each panelist has done exceptional work in foreign affairs and international human rights law. The conversation will focus on the role that nongovernmental organizations, such as the Syrian Accountability Project, play in prosecuting atrocities in Syria. This is especially relevant as foreign courts begin seeking accountability for international crimes that have occurred throughout the duration of this conflict.
