Our Family Fall Fest is coming up in three weeks!

We would love for YOU to join us on Saturday, October 24th from 11am-2pm for a fun-filled fall day for the whole family. We’ll have pumpkins, pony rides, bingo, crafts, food, and plenty of family friendly activities to enjoy! Bring your family and friends, the more the merrier 🍁

What is The Ruth Project all about?

The Ruth Project abundantly loves foster children by sharing the hope of Jesus and being His hands and feet through practical provisions, ongoing support, and community connections. We do this at our Boutique and at The Farm in Sycamore. Both are located at the epicenter of 18,000 of the 22,000 children in the IL foster care system.

Our vision is that all foster children will feel abundantly loved, deeply cared for, and experience true hope in Jesus.

In 2025, the Ruth Project distributed 10,233 items to our foster families! From shoes to snow pants, clothing, and more! 
 
The Ruth Project Boutique is far more than an abundant, no-cost shopping experience for foster families. It launches the journey back to hope and dignity for children, and is a hopeful welcome into friendship and encouragement for parents. Birth and adopted children also receive care and love — because fostering is part of their story too. These families are invited back again and again as their children grow, seasons change, and they welcome new placements. We are so grateful for the donations of many brand-new clothing items, and the hands that prepare the donations — all to bless families!

Two weeks ago our Naomi’s Circle gathered at the Farm! They voted to fund an electronic check-in system and name tag printer, for use at all events. Naomi’s Circle continues to help with our most practical behind the scenes projects, and we are so grateful!
