Filled our Back to School Hygiene Bags that are now in the hands of students from Mercy Housing Batavia Apartments, Marion Park Apartments, the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center, Elgin YWCA, the D300 Food Pantry, CHIP in Batavia, ECC Project Backpack and numerous individuals from Crystal Lake to Sugar Grove and every city in between.

We are hopeful the kits will provide students with the confidence to attend class, participate in extracurricular activities and after school jobs without having to pause for their period.

We thank everyone that helped make our drive a success! Our donors, collection partners (Bare Moxie, Elite Core Gymnastics, Liz & Kate Boutique, Ritual Facial Bar, StreetStyle and Sweetness Cookie Company) volunteers and Jr Ambassadors. We couldn't do what we do without you!

We are setting up menstruators throughout Kane County for success this school year! Back to School Hygiene kits went out tonight for those in the Elburn area.

School will be starting in just a matter of days. Students need more than paper and pencils to feel confident and prepared this school year!

Carrie and Mary spent the afternoon helping teens from the Take 2 progeam at YWCA Elgin
shop for period products, underwear and toiletries to help them feel ready to take on another school year with dignity.

*This "shopping" event was held at no cost to participants thanks to those who generously support our mission with in-kind donations and through the support of local grants.*

This morning Elgin Community College hosted Project Backpack providing hundreds of students within ECC boundaries with a backpack, school supplies and resources to set them, and their families, up for success this school year!
