PEO Sisterhood Chapter EA out of Batavia collected 718 period products and toiletries to help kick off our annual Not Your Typical School Supply Drive season. The group's thoughtfulness and attention to special items teens might need or enjoy doesn't go unnoticed. The hairbrushes, nail polish, lip balm and more are always sought after and much appreciated!

Batavia Mothers' Club Foundation generously awarded us a $750 grant to help continue to provide period products to students in Batavia through our relationship with Batavia High School and Batavia middle school. BMC is a dynamic organization with the children of Batavia at the center of their mission. It is an honor to be recognized by the organization.

We cannot thank Earthmover Credit Union enough for generously donating 747 pairs of underwear to our Drop Your Drawers Underwear Drive last month. Their support means we can provide underwear to an additional 250 people! The confidence that will bring people to go about their daily activities.....Wow, truly amazing! Thank you so much, Earthmover!

We spend a lovely morning with the "Prime Timers" from King of Glory Lutheran Church in Elgin on Friday. The ladies packed 100 period packs and presented us with a very generous grant from Thrivent which we will use to purchase pads for our upcoming School Supply Drive.

We are still counting underwear collected through last month's Drop Your Drawers underwear drive. We would like to thank everyone that donated so generously as well as our collection partners Bare Moxie Bra & Swim Boutique Red Hive Market Ritual Facial Bar Odhcil - Open Door Health Center of Illinois StreetStyle and Sweetness Cookie Company. It takes a village!

1,168 pairs so far. Stay tuned for a final count!

As we close out May we look back with gratitude on the events and people that helped to support our mission. We sincerely appreciate Allen and the Plank Road Tap Room family for generously donating the proceeds from the beautiful (and I'm sure delicious!) cupcake bouquet raffle that took place over Mother's Day weekend.
