What a wonderful turnout for the Elgin Police Department’s 4th Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk! 💜

We were glad to come out in support alongside more than 250 attendees and 10+ community partners, all coming together for an important cause.

It was great connecting with community members, having meaningful conversations, sharing behavioral health resources, and strengthening relationships with our community partners.

Raising awareness about domestic violence helps ensure individuals and families know that support and resources are available.

A big thank you to the Elgin Police Department for hosting this meaningful event and to everyone who came out in support!

Last week, Ecker Center had the opportunity to join Hanover Township for the Just 4 the Health of It Health & Wellness Expo.

The event brought together approximately 300 attendees and 78 vendors and exhibitors, creating a great space for community members to connect with local health, wellness, and support organizations.

Our team spent the day sharing information about Ecker’s behavioral health services and resources, answering questions, and connecting with other community partners doing important work across the area.

Thank you to Hanover Township for having us and for bringing so many organizations together in one place. Events like this help strengthen relationships, increase awareness of available resources, and make it easier for people to know where to turn when they need support. 🤝

This Monday, Ecker Center will bring our community together for Their Light Remains: Overdose & Su***de Awareness + Memorial Event — an evening to honor lives lost, support those carrying their memory, raise awareness, and share resources and hope.

As we make our final preparations, we’re still welcoming local businesses, organizations, and community members to help sponsor this free community event.

Sponsorship opportunities include:

💜 Wall of Remembrance Sponsor — $500
🎵 Harp Music Sponsor — $250
🕯️ Candlelight Tribute Sponsor — $250

Join Ecker Center for an evening of remembrance, reflection, connection, and hope as we honor the lives of those lost to overdose and su***de and stand alongside the families, friends, and communities who carry their memory forward.

The evening will include reflective music, a Wall of Remembrance, a candlelight tribute, messages of hope, and recovery resources.

Together, we will remember those we have lost, support one another, and carry their memory forward with compassion and hope.

As we celebrate, let’s show kindness, patience, and understanding toward those who may be struggling.

In observance of Independence Day, Ecker Center outpatient services will be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 3. We will reopen and resume regular operations on Monday.

Ecker’s 24/7 Crisis Services will remain open. If you need assistance, please visit the north entrance and ring the doorbell.
