The 4th Annual Elgin Sing-Along Messiah was truly inspiring. Thank you to all that joined us in this wonderful holiday tradition and to everyone that donated to support Well Child Center's Food for Families emergency pantry—established in partnership with Food for Greater Elgin.

Funds will help us purchase essential items to support vulnerable women, children, and families in our community through the holiday season and beyond.

Thank you again to our partners and community members for your continued support!

Now in its fourth year, the Elgin Sing-Along Messiah provides an extraordinary sing-along experience in the suburbs. This year's event will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m., at Second Baptist Church of Elgin, 1280 Summit Street, Elgin, Illinois.

Here are five reasons to attend:

⭐ You have a starring role as part of the audience chorus!

🅿️ Free Parking!

🙂 You’ll feel good for giving back! All proceeds benefit charity. This year’s charitable partner is Well Child Center. Proceeds from the event and donations will help WCC provide nutritious food and essentials that expectant moms and moms with young children need most – baby formula, diapers, wipes, baby food, and toddler-appropriate food.

🎶 Experience the award-winning musicians of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, the passionate voices of the Elgin Master Chorale, talent of four gifted soloists, and the exceptional student musicians of the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestras.

💯 It’s FUN!

Tickets are just $5 (plus a $2 fee). Children 12 and younger are free.

Learn more about the performers, download scores, buy tickets, and donate to our charitable partner on our website, www.elginsing-alongmessiah.org.

Proceeds from this year’s Elgin Sing-Along Messiah will benefit Well Child Center , allowing the organization to stock its Food for Families emergency pantry with:

• nutritious, child-friendly food
• baby formula
• baby and toddler food
• diapers
• wipes
• hygiene products

The moms and families that rely on Well Child Center – all of whom have incomes below the Federal poverty level – need our help now more than ever. Rising prices for groceries and baby essentials are making it more difficult for families to provide their children with the nutrition they need to lead a healthy life.

These families – our neighbors – are culturally diverse: 73% are Hispanic, 14% are Caucasian, 10% are African American, 1% are Native American, and 1% Asian American.

You can help by:
• Attending the Elgin Sing-Along Messiah
• Making a donation on-line to Well Child Center
• Giving to the free-will offering at the Sing-Along
• Telling your friends and neighbors about the work Well Child Center does for expectant and new mothers and children right here in our community

Learn more and get tickets (just $5 and children 12 and younger are free) on our website. Link in comments.
