A little clay. A lot of possibility.

Through SEF’s Ceramics and Pottery Expansion Grant, more LCJSMS students can shape, create, and take pride in something made with their own hands.

Your support helps bring hands-on learning like this to life.

On , we’re highlighting the importance of supporting students’ well-being alongside their academic growth.

Through SEF-funded programs, Summit students have access to experiences that support mindfulness, emotional regulation and social-emotional learning.

Because creating possible means supporting the whole student.

Great ideas start with great teachers. 🍎

This World Teachers’ Day, we’re celebrating the Summit educators who inspire, innovate and find new ways to help our students learn and grow.

Many of the programs SEF helps make possible begin with an idea from an educator who asks, “What if we could…?”

To all of our Summit teachers: thank you for continuing to create possible.

A little mindfulness can make a big difference. 🧘

At Brayton, SEF funding supports yoga and mindfulness to help students build focus, emotional regulation, creativity and well-being.

Another example of SEF grants supporting the whole student.

Summit families, we need your help growing our community.

If you already follow SEF, please send our page to a few Summit friends and ask them to follow us too.

The more families we reach, the more we can share:
✨ Grants coming to our schools
✨ The impact of your donations
✨ SEF events and fundraisers
✨ The incredible ideas our teachers and educators are bringing to life

You probably know a Summit parent who would want to see this stuff but just hasn’t found us yet.

So tag them. Text them. Send them this post. Tell them, “You should probably be following SEF.” 😉

Help us spread the word and grow the community supporting Summit students.

New backpacks. New schedules. New teachers. And plenty of big ideas waiting to happen. 📚✏️

Welcome back, Summit!

While students are settling into a new school year, SEF is already getting to work on what’s next.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of our community, SEF awarded 52 grants totaling more than $333,000 across Summit Public Schools.

That means more innovative programs, technology, equipment, professional development and learning experiences that go beyond what the school budget alone can provide.

And we’re just getting started.

Here’s to a 2026–27 school year filled with curiosity, creativity and a lot of really great ideas. 💡

Want to help bring the next great idea to life? Learn more about SEF and support our mission at www.sefnj.org.

And while you have your calendar open… save the date for our Spring for Excellence event on March 6.
