“We went on our SEF-funded field trip yesterday. The kids had a great time learning about how Rutgers students take care of the various farm animals!” Marija Prevoznak, Jefferson Elementary

SEF is proud to support Bringing the Farm to Life: An Experiential Learning Grant at Jefferson Elementary. This grant provided English as a Second Language students with a capstone field trip to the Rutgers farm, giving them the opportunity to connect their year-long virtual learning about dairy farming and agriculture to a real-world experience.

Your support helps bring hands-on learning like this to life for Summit students.

SEF was proud to fund a meaningful visit from nationally recognized speaker David Flood on March 25 at LCJSMS, Franklin, and Washington Schools. Through his high energy message about kindness, empathy, and dignity, students were encouraged to look beyond appearances, show gratitude, and make sure no one feels alone.

Thank you, David, for inspiring our school community.

TBT to Spring for Excellence 2026, “Celebrate the Magic” ✨

What an extraordinary evening. On March 14 at The Albion Summit, our community came together to celebrate 40 years of the Summit Educational Foundation and raise over $125,000 to support Summit public schools.

Thank you to our attendees, sponsors, community partners, auction donors, bidders, honorees, volunteers, and event team for making the night so special. Your generosity, energy, and belief in SEF’s mission will help fund teacher grants that bring innovative programs and opportunities to students across all nine Summit public schools.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make this milestone year so meaningful, and we look forward to sharing the impact of your support when our spring grant recipients are announced in May.
