Thank you, Africa, from Brandywine Assisted Living and Ericka from Autumn Lakes Rehab for sponsoring a Tai Chi session and bringing Rita’s Italian Ice for our friends at Spend-A-Day! Our clients enjoyed a relaxing, energizing Tai Chi session before cooling off with a refreshing treat from Rita’s. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with movement, smiles, and fun!

Every day, Natalie from our Meal Delivery Service not only delivers meals but also brings us back puzzles!

Joel B. from Chestnut Street in Summit creates beautiful puzzles for our Spend-A-Day clients, providing joy, engagement, and mental stimulation. The puzzles make wonderful bingo prizes!

Do you have puzzles that are intact and under 1,000 pieces or electrical tape to donate? We would love to pass them on to Joel!

Last week, our friends at Spend-A-Day enjoyed a fun afternoon of bowling! Participants cheered each other on, enjoyed some friendly competition, and shared plenty of laughs with friends and staff. It was a great time for everyone!

SUMMIT, NJ — August 11, 2026 — SAGE Eldercare, a nonprofit dedicated to helping older adults age with independence, dignity, purpose, and connection, is pleased to announce the appointment of Samantha B. Pozner, MD, FAAFP, to its Board of Trustees.

A longtime physician in and resident of Summit, Dr. Pozner brings a deep understanding of the local community and the healthcare needs of the older adults and families SAGE serves. Her leadership, thoughtful perspective, and commitment to community service will provide valuable insight as SAGE advances its mission.

"Dr. Pozner's longstanding commitment to our community and her deep understanding of the needs of older adults make her an outstanding addition to our Board," said Board President Cheryl LaBelle. "Her leadership will strengthen our work to ensure every older adult can age with independence, dignity, purpose, and connection."

Dr. Pozner joins a dedicated group of trustees who provide governance and strategic guidance to advance SAGE's mission and ensure older adults and families have access to the resources they need to thrive.
