We recently had the pleasure of hosting a dedication ceremony for the Stacy & Valerie Goldstein Medical Arts Center in honor of Ed and Sue Goldstein’s daughters, Stacy and Valerie.

The dedication included heartfelt remarks from Stephanie Schwartz, President of Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, and Clelia Biamonti, Chief Philanthropy Officer, as well as a moving musical tribute performed by our Manager of Spiritual Care and Volunteer Services, Monique Byrne.

We are honored to celebrate Ed and Sue and their family through this special tribute. Their longstanding commitment to Atlantic Health Overlook helps make a lasting difference in the lives of our patients and the community we serve. Thank you for all you make possible! 💙

Breaking ground on the future of surgical care. 🏗️

Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center has officially begun construction on the John E. Reeves Center for Advanced Surgery—a $70 million transformation that will expand and modernize surgical services for the growing needs of our community.

The project will increase the number of operating rooms from 20 to 26, add a new 50-bay pre- and post-operative care unit, and create six integrated ORs equipped for robotics, advanced imaging, and minimally invasive procedures.

Most importantly, generous donor support through the Overlook Foundation is helping bring this transformational project to life. Their commitment is helping build a surgical environment designed with patients, innovation, and the future of care at its center.

We’re proud to celebrate this important milestone and grateful to our donors who are helping bring the future of surgical care to Atlantic Health Overlook. 💙

Gratitude in action 💙

Through our Gift of Gratitude program, patients, families, and community members can turn appreciation into impact, honoring those who made a difference in their care.

Recently, an anonymous donor who also volunteers at Overlook Medical Center recognized two of our leaders, our Manager of Spiritual Care & Volunteer Services and our Lead Patient Experience Liaison, for the compassion and leadership they bring to our community every day. Their gift will also provide ongoing support for our volunteer program, helping ensure that moments of comfort and connection continue for future patients and families.
