PEP College Tour 2026! 🎓

PEP's rising seniors participated in our annual college tour, visiting a range of colleges and universities across New Jersey.

This year’s tour included visits to Fairleigh Dickinson University–Florham, Kean University, Montclair State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers University–Newark, Seton Hall University, and The College of New Jersey.

These visits give students the opportunity to explore different campus environments, learn more about academic programs and student life, and begin thinking more deeply about their own post-secondary goals.

We are proud of our students for engaging thoughtfully throughout the week and excited to support them as they continue preparing for the college application process! 💙

PEP’s summer programming is off to a great start! ☀️

Our 7th- and 8th-grade students, along with PEP Student Ambassadors, kicked off the summer by giving back to the community through service projects at Reeves-Reed Arboretum, GRACE, and the Junior League of Summit.

At Reeves-Reed Arboretum, students helped care for the gardens. They also supported food distribution at GRACE and helped at the Junior League of Summit thrift shop.

We are proud of their hard work, teamwork, and commitment to making a positive impact in our community! 💙

📣 Apply to the PEP Program for 2026–2027

Eligible 6th-graders at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School can now apply to the PEP Program for 2026–2027. PEP supports students from middle school through college with tutoring, academic coaching, and college readiness support.
