In partnership with Christ Church, The Connection is proud to support individuals living with memory challenges and their care partners through monthly gatherings filled with gentle exercise, music, singing, dancing, games, conversation, and connection.

Exercise can be an important part of cancer care and recovery.

A recent 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘠𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 article highlights the growing evidence behind exercise oncology, noting that “exercise programs can improve cancer outcomes,” while access to these programs remains limited.

At The Connection, we’re proud to help close that gap through Pathways Sister Strong.

Women who are undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment can receive 16 hours of FREE one-on-one fitness training with qualified Cancer Exercise Specialists at The Connection’s Fitness Center.

Training is personalized to each participant, with a focus on strength, mobility, confidence and overall well-being.

Because movement can be an important part of the journey, and no woman should have to navigate that journey alone. 💗

Pathways Women's Cancer Teaching Project breast cancer survivors educated 60 first-year Physician Assistant students at Seton Hall on October 7 for the 12th year! It was an extraordinary day for the students and the Patient Educators who shared their breast cancer stories with the students. The students will use the tools they learned to become the most empathetic, holistic providers they can be. Shout out to Dr. Abby Saunders who welcomes us every year!

The Connection is collecting books for Moms Helping Moms’ Books for Babies early literacy program!

Whenever Moms Helping Moms provides diapers and baby essentials to families in need, they also make sure a book goes home with them. Your donation can help make storytime part of a child’s everyday life! 🧸📖

What they need:
- New or gently used books for ages 0–5
- Board books, picture books & early readers
- Books in English or Spanish

Drop off your donations in The Connection’s front vestibule from October 1–30.
