Through our Renovations Program, Sturgis Neighborhood Program works to transform neglected and distressed properties into quality homes that contribute to the long-term strength of our community.

Over the years, we've helped transform 30+ homes across Sturgis, working alongside local contractors and community partners to:

* Eliminate blight from our neighborhoods
* Create quality, affordable housing
* Improve safety, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
* Preserve and strengthen existing neighborhoods
* Support local contractors and our local economy
* Build lasting community pride

Every renovation is about more than a house. It's about creating a place where someone can live, a property that adds value to its neighborhood, and a community that is stronger because of it.

Through a generous gift from the St Joseph County Conservation District and support from the City of Sturgis and St. Joseph County United Way, we’re proud to add another Neighbor2Neighbor Community Impact Initiative: Let’s Grow Together, Sturgis!

Saturday, May 30, we will be at the The Sturgis Farmers' Market starting at 9:00 AM passing out FREE TREES. Come see us under the blue canopy!

***Free trees available while supplies last
***Sturgis City prohibits planting trees in the city right-of-way (between the street and sidewalk)
***To prevent future problems, plan accordingly when planting your tree - consider the size of your full-grown tree and don’t place them too close to power lines or house foundations.

Are you ready for a stroll around the park in the most beautiful weather imaginable? We'll be at Oak Lawn Terrace Park from 9am-1pm with early veggies, honey, maple syrup, fresh baked goods, and lots of interesting crafts. The Sturgis Neighborhood Program will also have free trees to give away while supplies last. Can't wait to see you there!
