❗️Important Announcement from W.A.S.P. (Walking Along Su***de Prevention)❗️

To our friends, supporters, volunteers, and community members,

Over the past several years, W.A.S.P. (Walking Along Su***de Prevention) has been honored to bring people together through our annual 5K walk to raise awareness, provide support, and continue the important conversation surrounding su***de prevention and mental health. Your support has helped us make a meaningful impact, and for that we are incredibly grateful.

After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to hold our annual 5K walk this year for 2026.

This decision was not made lightly. Over the past year, our family has experienced multiple personal losses, and between those challenges, work commitments, and the need to take time to heal, reflect, and recharge, we believe stepping back this year is the best decision for our organization and those who help make it possible.

While the walk will not take place this year, our mission remains unchanged. Su***de prevention and mental health awareness continue to be causes that are deeply important to us. Every day, there are individuals struggling silently, and it is more important than ever that we continue to support, encourage, and check in on one another. The fight against su***de does not stop, and neither does our commitment to helping bring awareness to this critical issue.

We want everyone to know that this is not a goodbye. It is simply a pause. Sometimes, in order to move forward stronger, we need to take a step back, refocus, and regain our strength. This year will allow us the opportunity to do just that.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who has walked beside us, volunteered, donated, shared our message, and supported W.A.S.P. throughout the years. Your dedication has helped create a community built on compassion, hope, and support.

We look forward to what the future holds and hope to return stronger and more focused than ever. Until then, continue to check on your loved ones, support those who may be struggling, and remember that no one should have to walk alone.

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your continued belief in our mission.

With gratitude,

W.A.S.P. (Walking Along Su***de Prevention) 🩵💜

What happens here goes beyond the kitchen.

Every batch. Every order. Every moment spent creating —
it all connects to something bigger.

Made with Love and Hope exists to turn everyday actions
into something meaningful.

It’s not just about what’s being made.
It’s about what it helps make possible.

Through this work, we’re able to support the mission of
The Matthew Lane Hobby Foundation —
creating opportunities for conversation, education, and awareness
around mental health and su***de prevention.

If you’ve ever wondered how to be part of something like this…
sometimes it starts with something simple.

Grief is a sponge. It soaks up and holds onto pieces of everything we do. As the weight grows heavier, it feels like the emotions are impossible to contain. The weight is too heavy to carry.
When we access and acknowledge our grief, we give room for the weight to lighten. We open up room for those pieces of us to be shared with others, so we're not holding it all alone.

Remember, it’s ok not to be ok, but it’s not ok to not get help. If you need support, reach out.

Community partnerships make a real difference!

Earlier this year, WASP (Walk Against Su***de Prevention) approached Illume Wellness Group with a desire to support individuals in St. Joseph County who are facing financial stress, mental health challenges, or losing a loved one to su***de. WASP generously donated $3,000 to help cover counseling costs for those receiving care at Illume.

Inspired by their generosity, Illume chose to match the donation with an additional $3,000.

Together, this $6,000 fund allowed us to provide financial assistance to eleven clients so they could continue receiving counseling during a difficult season in their lives.

We are grateful to WASP for partnering with us and investing in the mental health of our community.

Because when people receive the support they need, the entire community benefits.

Some weeks carry more weight than others.

Before we move into the days ahead, this is a gentle reminder that you don’t have to rush, push, or have everything figured out.

Mental wellness isn’t about being strong all the time. Sometimes it’s about slowing down, noticing what you’re carrying, and giving yourself permission to move at a gentler pace.

As we move through this week, we’re holding space — for reflection, connection, and care.

However this season feels for you, you’re allowed to meet it exactly where you are.

Weekly Coloring Pages — Week 03

This week’s page gently reminds us that talking helps.

Sharing what we’re carrying — even a little — can lighten the weight. Talking doesn’t have to mean having all the answers. It can simply mean letting someone else in.

These coloring pages are designed as a supportive space to reflect on the power of conversation, connection, and being heard — whether that conversation happens with a friend, a loved one, or a trusted professional.

New pages are released weekly.

This resource is offered for support and reflection. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care. If you or someone you love is in crisis, please reach out to a trusted person, a mental health professional, or a local crisis resource.
