We just received this video of the day a few weeks ago when we celebrated the graduation of seven of our sponsored students in Uganda. They have worked hard and accomplished a goal few do by graduating from university or trade school! We are so proud of them and thankful for their sponsors who saw them through to graduation!

What an amazing time we are having here in Uganda along with Shawn and CJ Lasich! Our hearts are full and blessed and challenged all at the same time… we have been so loved by our friends here as always … we are very proud of our SMPI staff- they are truly transformers of lives…

While in Uganda, our team visited several homes of some of our sponsored children. We were able to listen to their stories, pray with them, hug them and give them food bundles. It was quite an experience... today we were sent this beautiful video they made of most of the families we visited. The families were so very happy to have us visit them in their homes....

We are in the homestretch to achieving our goal of building the house for the family in Uganda! Only $1,830.00 remains to be raised and we couldn’t be happier! Four of our sponsored teens lived in this already compromised house. Some of the family members are pictured here in front of the house that has been made uninhabitable by heavy rains and winds. Our Give Send Go fund will provide a new clean dry home for them. We love these kids, several of whom have been sponsored for 14 years since our SMPI program began in 2009. Each of them shows huge potential to be leaders in their community. We are raising $16,000 to build them a new home. Please click the link to see our video with more information. We had an amazing experience this year at Queen Elizabeth Park in Uganda! We were just entering the park after having been delayed and we noticed a large bull elephant standing in the roadway. We stopped getting ready to back up if we needed to. But after staring at us he turned and crossed into the brush beside the road. He was soon followed by another smaller elephant and another and another... they just kept crossing not far ahead of us. More and more on their way to their watering hole. It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience! Because of our being delayed we were in perfect time to see this magnificent parade. What a treat planned by our Heavenly Father!
