Hello Friends! Could I ask you to please be praying for the SMPI Youth Camp which is happening Wednesday thru Friday this week! Fiona said today the kids are SOOO excited! This truly is an amazing event in these kids lives! Pray for a move of the Holy Spirit, that kids will grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus with their whole hearts and if there are any who have never committed their lives to the Lord that they will be saved! This was a life changing event for the kids at camp last year! Let's pray for encounters and growth and fun!!! Thanks for joining me in this!

We had such a wonderful Sponsor Appreciation evening on Thursday night as over 100 sponsors in Sturgis came to hear about what God is doing with SMPI in Uganda. We watched 5 videos about our sponsored children and youth in Uganda and reviewed some of the projects we have operating to help single mothers and some dads- giving them a hand up out of the poverty into which they were born. We thank our amazing Uganda staff for operating the Chicken Project, the Microfinance project, the SMPI Mother’s Fellowship and several other ministries. It was wonderful to see so many of our sponsors personally and thank them all for their faithful sponsorship of their children/youth to support them in getting a solid Christian education!

We just received this video of the day a few weeks ago when we celebrated the graduation of seven of our sponsored students in Uganda. They have worked hard and accomplished a goal few do by graduating from university or trade school! We are so proud of them and thankful for their sponsors who saw them through to graduation!

What an amazing time we are having here in Uganda along with Shawn and CJ Lasich! Our hearts are full and blessed and challenged all at the same time… we have been so loved by our friends here as always … we are very proud of our SMPI staff- they are truly transformers of lives…
