Streator Baptist Camp is still looking for a reliable and hardworking camp cook to join our team!

This is a great opportunity to serve others, be part of a Christian environment, and make a big difference by feeding hungry campers and staff.

What we’re looking for:
✅ Ability to cook for groups
✅ Positive attitude and servant’s heart
✅ Dependable and team‑oriented
✅ Prior kitchen or cooking experience is helpful

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Come join us today, May 7th, for a special day of prayer for our camp!
Prayer is the foundation of all we do, and we want to start this camp season on the right foot—covered in prayer and trusting God for all He will do.
We’re inviting our community to stop by anytime between 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM to walk the grounds and pray—for the campers, the staff, and the life-changing moments that will happen here this season.
Whether you can stay for a few minutes or a few hours, your presence and prayers mean so much.
Let’s come together and cover this place in prayer. We’d love to see you here at Camp!

The camp is quiet right now. Soon, we will hear the sounds of Worship, Prayer, and Games. It is times like these that remind me of Psalms 100. The camp is a place for generations to come to the Lord our God. To sing Worship, learn about Jesus, step away from the business of life to focus on Him, and, of course, play games.

Psalms 100:1-3
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

It hard to put into words just how much Dick and Karen mean to us. Year after year, they have shown up with willing hands, servant hearts, and a dedication that has made a lasting impact on this camp.

Because of them, so much has been accomplished, and so many lives have been touched. Their faithfulness, hard work, and quiet consistency do not go unnoticed.

Karen said, “I try to live my life in God’s waiting room, ready to serve when called.”

Thank you, Dick and Karen, for every hour you’ve given and every way you’ve served. We are so grateful for you both and the legacy you continue to build here.

Praise the Lord for His Provision! Because of the generous giving of churches through the Cooperative Program we are blessed to be able to get a new (to us!) camp truck, and we’re so grateful! This addition will be a huge help with work projects, events, and daily operations around camp.
