We have a $10,000 goal, and so far we have 16 kids covered out of 50! 34 more kids to get sponsored!!

Thank you so MUCH!

On behalf of the Streator Police Department we would like to thank Knights of Columbus and the gentleman pictured that so graciously donated $1500 to the Cops 4 Kids! This was made possible for the people that participated in the Msgr George A Dzuryo Knights of Columbus Council #790 held their Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday August 16, 2025.

Thank you again to Knights of Columbus who helped support a great cause and support Streator Police Department Cops 4 kids!

Mark your calendars, November 22 2025 will be our annual benefit at the Streator knights of Columbus. We received this GENEROUS anonymous donation today! If you would like to donate to our raffle baskets or you would like to sponsor a child..please let us know!

Kicking off the begining of the month with a heck of a deal from Runnings Stores to give us a bit of a cushion for the up coming Toy Drive and shop with a cop program. 3 over stuffed carts of toys and an over stuffed cart of coats! We were able to get all of this for just about $220. Thank you Ali Talty. If anyone wants to donate feel free to let me know, our goal is to spend $200 per child for 50 kids for a total of $10,000 for the shopping program. Last year, we also helped over 200 Streator children with gift under the tree. 💙

Each year, the Streator Cops for Kids, raises money to take a goal of 50 kids shopping for Christmas! Each child has a $200 budget for shoes, clothes & necessities and a small gift. We can’t not do this without you! We spend the year fundraising for this event. If you or your business would like to sponsor a child with a tax deductible donation, feel free to let us know! The children are chosen to Shop with a Cop by teachers, counselors and case workers.
