Naramor Cemetery Preservation

Naramor Cemetery Preservation This page is about the Restoration of a Pioneer Cemetery that has long been forgotten through time.

We have spent 15 years unearthing and restoring this cemetery. My goal was to reconnect living families today with their ancestors.

At this time the cemetery needs to be mowed. I’m doing what I can to make it happen. Two push mowers are shot and three volunteers are out. I cannot left a push mower or I’d get mine in the car and use it. I’m searching for a yard man push mower to be used for now. I’ll keep you informed as things happen. Donation can be monetary, bird houses, water to fill up a barrel or support foundation poles for bird houses. We need 4 more. Once we get this mowed I will do something very cool. I will go on a live feed video as we play the cemetery. I will use divining rods and a couple of other volunteers to do the measurements and plotting the gps coordinates.
Should I do a lotto fundraiser to see just how many people are buried there?
I was also informed that it was destroyed by the previous landowner. Thanks for following.

Today we worked out there doing some cleaning and community service work hanging bird houses on poles. They aren’t painted yet but they look pretty nice. Dan Estes build the blue “Hotel”. The grass needs to be mowed in waiting on one getting fixed.

Heading out today to clean and tweak things. Mowers will be mowing and doing magic like they always do.

And they came from as far away as Washington State. What was once destroyed has now found its connection to its families. My friend Curtis took most of these pictures. He’s one of our board members and has been volunteering for 10 years now. Many others came out to see it. 9”Our work will continue as we play it out. Thank you everyone for coming out today ;))) Happy Descendants Day

Hi,
If you are coming out today spray yourself with bug repellent. The grass was mowed last week and it’s not bad. I’m wearing shorts and spraying myself with it. Please park along the road south of Oakley Ave. I will drive across to transport people who can’t make the walk across the access path. Any questions feel free to ask. 🙂
