This event that was cancelled due to the weather in August is back on for this weekend!

🔥With wildfires making headlines across the region, join us to learn about prescribed burning, one of the most important tools foresters use to prevent wildfires before they start.

Led by Jodi Skipper & Stephen Hoy of the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Forestry, we'll dig into why controlled burns matter, how foresters decide when to burn, and what it takes to manage smoke and terrain. Conditions permitting, you'll even see a live demonstration!

The Happy Valley Town Series: All-Ages Run and Bike Racing is back for year two! Join us at Tussey Mountain for three evenings of community racing and outdoor fun.

Kids, teens, and adults can take on short-course trail running, off-road bike racing, or both! Each week features live race results, door prizes, and a community expo spotlighting local outdoor, recreation, and sports organizations. Stop by our table and say hi to learn more about our programs while you explore.

This welcoming series is all about getting active, trying something new, building community, and challenging yourself — values that are core to Centred Outdoors.
