Through the rain on May 23rd, we walked with purpose, love, and remembrance again this year. 🇺🇸❤️

Extra special thanks to everyone who supported us by registering for our 4th annual A Walk to Remember Our Fallen... and bringing your umbrellas and raincoats to gather in community to remember the brave souls we’ve lost.

We honor them by remembering and telling their stories... and by supporting those who are serving today and every day.

Today we honor the life and legacy of Staff Sergeant Charles John Gerst Jr. 🇺🇸

SSGT Charles John Gerst Jr. served in the U.S. Air Force with the 193rd Special Operations Wing and worked as a communications network specialist for General Dynamics in Alexandria, Virginia. He deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and other special missions.

A man of Christian faith, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, including a recent trek to Machu Picchu. He participated in charitable events such as the “Tough Mudder” and spent time volunteering to help children in need, including those affected by Hurricane Katrina.

He enjoyed sports, especially snowboarding at Tussey Mountain, and was known for his kindness, infectious smile, and commitment to fairness and compassion.

We are proud to honor Charles through this storyboard as part of our Walk to Remember Our Fallen ❤

Today we honor the life and legacy of Private First Class Bradley G. Kritzer 🇺🇸

PFC Bradley G. Kritzer served in Baghdad, Iraq, where he carried out his deployment with honor and dedication. He was a selfless young man who consistently went out of his way to help others, always placing the well-being of his fellow soldiers and their families above his own.

Even during his final mission, he put others first by taking a dangerous position in place of his comrades. He will be remembered as someone with a heart of gold who loved the Lord, his family, and his country.

We are proud to honor Bradley through this storyboard as part of our Walk to Remember Our Fallen ❤

Today we honor the life and legacy of Private Stanley Wisniewski🇺🇸

Stanley Wisniewski served with the 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division during World War II, deployed to North Africa. He gave his life in service to his country and is buried in Carthage, Tunisia, where he rests after making the ultimate sacrifice in combat.

Although he never had the opportunity to be known by future generations of his family, he was deeply loved by his older brother, who carried his memory with great affection throughout his life. Stanley was awarded the Purple Heart in recognition of his bravery and sacrifice.

His story reflects courage, honor, and unwavering dedication to the United States of America during WWII. He should be remembered for his selfless service and the ultimate sacrifice he made in defense of his country.
