🌍💜 On World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, we stand united in raising awareness about acts of violence and harm committed against older adults. To lead prevention efforts, Centre Safe created AWARE, a 4-part curriculum aimed at individuals 60 and older and the folks who love them. Thank you PA Democratic Party State Committee for donating more than 800 food items and collecting monetary donations to benefit Centre Safe and the thousands of victims and survivors we serve across Centre County and beyond! The collection happened primarily over five hours of the state committee’s gathering in State College on Friday.

Staff at Our Children's Center Montessori now feel they have additional tools in their toolbox to identify and respond to signs of domestic violence and other forms of abuse, as well as practice bystander intervention, thanks to a program yesterday from Centre Safe.
