Thank you, League of Women Voters of Columbia-Boone County. League President Susie Adams and past President Marilyn McLeod broke down the confusing November 3rd ballot measures, including Amendments 3, 6, 7, 8, Proposition A, and Proposition L for the Boone County Jail, on KBIA radio station.

In 2024, Missourians voted to end the abortion ban.

We thought it was over.

Now, in 2026, politicians have put Amendment 3 on the ballot for one reason: to overturn our votes and ban abortion.

Vote NO to keep medical decisions where they belong: between patients and doctors.

Missouri has real needs right now. Our public schools are one of them.

Amendment 7 would create a permanent state investment fund, the Show-Me Prosperity Fund, with the long-term goal of generating enough investment income to eliminate state-imposed taxes. The amendment would also restrict lawmakers from appropriating or diverting money once it is placed in the fund until certain conditions are met. Missouri Secretary of State.

That concerns MRTA. Missouri already has an obligation to adequately fund our public schools, transportation, and the services Missourians depend on. We believe taxpayer dollars should be used responsibly to meet those commitments, not locked away in a massive new fund built around the *hope* of future investment returns.

Our schools need investment now. Our communities need reliable funding now.

MRTA opposes Amendment 7. Vote NO on 7 on November 3.
