Twangfest Twangfest (http://twangfest.com) presents a concert every Saturday at the Tower Grove Farmers Market from mid-May through early October.

We welcome you to Twangfest, the best music festival you’ll ever attend, if you’ll allow us a moment of immodesty. Twangfest is a place where incredible musical performers from all over the country play before the most fervent bunch of music lovers that they or you will ever meet. We often say that Twangfest is a big tent; the big top of a musical three-ring circus, filled with the sights and sounds that make roots music so vibrant and inspirational. Get ready to fill your ears and feast your eyes, and be sure to introduce yourself to friends new and old. But most of all, have yourself a great time! In fact, we dare you not to. Twangfest is not just an event; it’s also a nonprofit organization working to preserve and promote the unique tradition and culture of Americana music. Musician Dale Watson says,

“Twangfest is the future survival of country music…and a home for us survivalists.”

The Second Annual Harvest Festival took place last Saturday (9/5) at Tower Grove Farmers' Market! Twangfest was on hand to present four bands. We ended up presenting three bands because the festival ended early at 1:30 PM because of severe heat. Our apologies to Manos PanAmerica who were supposed to play from 2-3 PM but we will book them at a later date. They are too good to play in front of a sparse crowd!

Courtney Novak was the third and last band on, and quite a number of hearty and oblivious-to-the-heat music listeners were on hand to listen to their very cool soul stylings. If was a perfect way to end the day after three bands and five and a half hours of music!

Special mention also goes to Celia Shack Attack who wasn't at the gazebo stage but who put on an awesome one-person show under shade trees to a rapt audience as part of this festival.

This coming Saturday (9/12) will feature the great country (and beyond) sounds of Colonel Ford. The musical festivities begin at 10AM and they will play until noon. As usual, all Saturday Sessions events presented by Twangfest are free. Come on down!

The Second Annual Harvest Festival took place last Saturday (9/5) at Tower Grove Farmers' Market! Did we mention it was hot? That did not deter the music listening crowd from showing up! Twangfest was on hand to present four bands. We ended up presenting three bands because the festival ended early at 1:30 PM because of severe heat.

Foster & the Fellowship were the second band on, and they were a force of nature as they brought their amalgamation of soul, funk, and jazz (mainly) instrumentals to the Twangfest Saturday Sessions stage. We're talking about some of the finest players on the St. Louis music scene. Terrific!

The Second Annual Harvest Festival took place last Saturday (9/5) at Tower Grove Farmers' Market! Twangfest was on hand to present four bands. We ended up presenting three bands because the festival ended early at 1:30 PM because of severe heat. That didn't keep an impressive number of people from enjoying the music! Kicking off the festivities at 8AM was All the Days and their exquisite blend of harmonies and fine songwriting was a fantastic way to start off the day!
