This fall, we are looking for caring adults to mentor and tutor middle school students one afternoon each week at our after school program. Whether you're helping with homework, building confidence, or simply showing up consistently, your presence matters.

• 86% improved reading accuracy

This past weekend we trained 12 high-impact contracted tutors who will serve students across 10 summer camps throughout the St. Louis region this summer. ☀️📚

Our tutors are stepping into camps equipped with strategies rooted in the science of reading, relationship-building, and targeted intervention support to help students grow in confidence and literacy skills this summer so they won’t just avoid the summer slide—they’ll continue moving forward. 💙

Together, our tutors will provide over 1,000 hours of free literacy support to students who need it most.

This role will assist with volunteer coordination, communication, scheduling, and program support as we continue empowering students through tutoring and mentoring.

Because of YOU, 10 students now have the opportunity to participate in our BRAND NEW Launch Pad after school program this year because sponsors stepped up on and before Give STL Day!

Our goal is to serve 25 students this year, and there’s still room for more students to be sponsored. A gift of $100 covers one student’s registration fee for the entire year of after-school support, tutoring, and mentoring.
