H. McGee Alexander Lodge #3 H. McGee Alexander Lodge #3 was the third lodge established in Missouri in 1863 warranted by and under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Ohio.

A petition was granted from the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ohio on June 24, 1865 for the formation of the first Grand Lodge of Missouri with Brother Henry McGee Alexander as the first Grand Master. Today, One hundred and fifty four years later H. McGee Alexander Lodge #3 is committed to our three basic virtues: friendship, morality, and brotherly love, while continuing to serve our

community whenever possible under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshpful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Missouri. Our Mission statement and Vision as per the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Missouri and Jurisdictions are as follows:

Mission Statement: Dedicate ourselves to providing service, growth, and leadership in the community, striving to maintain a high level of integrity in all matters by volunteering for service projects and dispensing charity consistent within our ability to give, and to gain respect, recruit, train, and develop the highest caliber of youth.

One of the goals of H. McGee Alexander Lodge #3 is to support others in the community who are impacting people, so we were excited to partner Ellicia Lanier of Urban Sprouts in their office clean up.
Urban Sprouts, https://www.urbansproutscdc.org/, is more than a ChildCare Center, it was founded to create a space where children and families could grow together, where learning is meaningful, and where community is a the heart of everything.

On this day in the year 1863 Worshipful Master George Phillips, Senior Warden David P. Powell, Junior Warden Henry Turner, Treasurer Francis Carter, Secretary J.Q. Johnson and Tyler E. Pines were reflected in the archives as being the elected officers of the newly chartered lodge in the St. Louis Masonic District of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Ohio. This lodge would carry the name after one of its jurisdiction's prominent members Past Master Henry McGee Alexander. It would take the number 8 initially until Missouri became a Grand Lodge of its own less than 2 years later in which it became H. McGee Alexander Lodge #3.

This lodge would remain a footprint in Missouri Masonry and the community for the next 162 years and counting.

📚🎒We were honored to support Harmony’s Helping Hands Healing Homeless with HuSTLe in their mission to uplift and empower our unhoused community.

Our contribution to their Back-to-School initiative included:
• ✏️ 26 packs of regular & colored pencils
• 🖍️ 25 packs of crayons
• ✒️ 44 packs of markers
• 🧴 48 glue sticks

That’s 1,386 total school supply items placed directly into the hands of children who need them most. 💛
