Read comments for example qualifications for an executive creative director role in tech!!

The Story:
“I talked with a Black executive creative director who I wanted to place at a huge tech company where he'd make over $750K per year.

He declined. :o

His current total compensation where he works (at another huge tech company) is almost $1.4M per year.

You all never heard of this creative. He's not famous nor does he have any "major" awards. Just good at his craft and stayed focused.

He's making more than 99.999999% of creatives on social media with 1M+ followers. Matter of fact, he doesn't even have a social media page (only a LinkedIn account). I wish he did because he's one of the kindest, most humble people I know and the world should see more men like this. I know it's why he get's such high offers.

Moral of the story...

#1 Creatives can make a great living without being famous

#2 Tech companies have too much money (literally)

#3 If you're a creative, don't worry about fame (unless that matters to you)...worry about perfecting your craft, becoming excellent at your work, and having such a good reputation that people want to hire you for ridiculous amounts of money because of who YOU are and how you lead others...and getting hired at a tech company who can pay you ridiculous amounts of money lol”
