About TEDxStLouis
TEDxStLouis is a regional extension of TED. We use the TED format to build a connected community of learners and change-agents in St. Louis—a community motivated to find new ways to impact individual lives, the prosperity of our region, and ultimately the world. Our mission is to create an inclusive & equitable community of thought leaders in the St. We believe passionately in th

e power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. Our community will build a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the region’s most inspired thinkers — and a consortium of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other, both online and at TEDx events all year long. About TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. About TED
TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a global movement that empowers individuals to share their work and ideas in the fields of Technology, Entertainment and Design. Yearly conferences are held and broadcasted to the world. TED is owned by the private non-profit Sapling Foundation, under the slogan: “Ideas Worth Spreading”.
