The Glade in Forest Park won't only improve the experience for Steinberg Rink skaters; it also will also make the 6-mile dual recreation path around Forest Park even better. We shifted this section of the popular path west of the Taylor Kindle River. So now path users will wind through beautiful trees with stunning views of the waterway, the skyline and all the activity at The Glade.

Two new stone bridges provide access to the site from Faulkner Drive and glimpses of egrets as they fish. This layout puts The Glade in harmony with the waterway extension we completed in 2025, the improved Jefferson Lake to the south, and Klein Prairie to the north.
