With more than 50 years of experience supporting people returning from incarceration, Sponsors Inc. shared valuable insight, knowledge, and lessons learned from decades of doing this work.

The SCROR team recently had the privilege of visiting Veterans Legacy Oregon at Camp Alma, where we shared a beautiful afternoon of connection and Reiki healing with veterans.

We were deeply inspired by the bravery, strength, and determination these veterans carry with them, and by their continued drive to make each day a little better. Their resilience is a reminder of the courage it takes not only to serve, but also to keep moving forward.

We are especially grateful for how warmly and openly we were welcomed. There was a beautiful sense of reciprocal gratitude; we were grateful for the opportunity to be there, and they welcomed us without hesitation. That genuine openness made the experience even more powerful.

And, of course, we cannot forget the amazing crab! 🦀 A special thank you to Warren for such a wonderful meal and thoughtful hospitality.

We left with grateful hearts, meaningful connections, and an even deeper appreciation for the people who welcomed us. 🤎
