Our Gen Leaders are off to a great start! We are so grateful to have youth voices behind our campaign message and assist our prevention efforts by bringing our campaign into their communities. Gen Leaders meet monthly to brainstorm innovative ways to share our campaign, create social media content to ensure messaging is geared towards youth, and are the experts in their communities to engage in prevention activities, including our campaign! We are excited to see the impact they make!

Today and every day, we support mental health. Creating spaces where people feel seen and heard is the start of breaking the stigma around mental health. Today is a reminder that mental health is health, and we at Generation Lead are here to build supportive communities throughout Illinois. Remember, you matter and your voice does too!

What a way to start the week!! We are so grateful to have been a part of the Operation Snowball Fall Showcase attended by OS Chapters throughout the state.

We listened to keynote speakers, attended workshops, and held a networking activity to share why our world is better with you in it. It’s always the best time when we get to connect and share our message with youth and adult change makers!

Most Illinois students say NO to underage alcohol use. Why does this matter? Alcohol can affect youth development, especially the brain! This can impact judgement, decision making, coordination, and more.
