The Springfield Aldermanic Black Caucus stand against all forms of racism which is clearly displayed below. Diversity is not a threat. Representation is not a threat. Democracy is not a threat.

As Chair of the Springfield Aldermanic Black Caucus, we stand with every community that faces discrimination, exclusion, or efforts to discourage civic participation. We know too well what it means to be told to wait our turn or that there is only room for certain voices.

We will never condemn racism when it affects one community and remain silent when it affects another. We stand together against prejudice in all its forms and ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to lead, serve, and be heard.
