Our beautiful Irish lady celebrated her 83rd birthday surrounded by her housemates, friends, cupcakes and plenty of smiles!

Maggie is one of those special people who always seems to have a cheerful outlook and is ready for whatever adventure life brings her way. At 83, she’s still showing us how it’s done!

Happy Birthday, Maggie! We hope you made a BIG wish when you blew out those candles — and that this next trip around the sun is filled with even more adventures, laughter and people who love you. 🎉🧁☘️

We are so excited to have our friends at SIU back in the kitchen with us! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Cooking classes are officially back, and as you can see from these pictures, our folks were cooking up a storm! ❤️

Healthy eating doesn’t have to beboring. Learning new recipes, trying new foods, building skills and spending time together makes being in the kitchen fun in so many ways.

A huge thank you to our friends at SIU for continuing to partner with Sparc and for making these classes such a great experience for the people we support. We are so happy to have you back! 🍎🥕🥣

What a day on Lake Springfield! 🎣💙

Our ladies had the opportunity to spend the day fishing with Fishing Has No Boundaries, and what an incredible organization they are. They provide adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience something many may never have had the opportunity to do otherwise—and they do it with such kindness, patience and heart.

Days like this are about so much more than catching fish. They’re about new experiences, friendships, laughter and making memories that will last long after the boats come back to shore.

To everyone with Fishing Has No Boundaries who gives their time and talents to make this possible—we appreciate all of you and everything you do. Thank you for giving our ladies such a special day! 🎣❤️

What an evening! 🦞❤️

Another Maine Event Live Lobsterbake is in the books, and what a GREAT night!

Events like this are about so much more than what happens under the tent for a few hours. They’re about people coming together because they believe in Sparc’s mission, and most importantly, in the incredible people we support.

None of it happens without the people behind the scenes. To our Sparc staff who planned, organized, decorated, sold tickets, solved last-minute problems, welcomed our guests and did about a hundred other things no one ever sees — thank you. These pictures capture just a little of the work, laughter and teamwork that made the evening happen.

A very special thank you to Robert’s Seafood, BUNN and MKDZ for providing the fantastic entertainment that kept the evening going. Thank you to every sponsor, donor, board member, friend and guest who showed up for Sparc.

Your support allows us to do more than provide services. It helps us create opportunities, experiences, and a life filled with possibility for the people we support.

That’s what an evening like this is really about.

Another day of DSP Week and another group of incredible people to celebrate! 💙

Today it’s our Job Coaches, INK 186 team, and Supported Employment staff taking center stage!

They encourage. They teach. They problem-solve. They open doors. And most importantly, they believe in the abilities of the people we support and help them succeed out in our community.

DSP Week gives us the perfect excuse to celebrate the incredible people who show up every day with compassion, patience, humor and heart.

These faces represent so much of what makes SPARC, SPARC. They support, encourage, problem-solve, cheer people on—and somehow manage to keep smiling through it all. ❤️

So today, we’re simply saying HATS OFF to our amazing DSPs! We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re pretty darn lucky to have you on Team SPARC!
