Bluegrass and Barbecue is coming!

Join us Sunday, September 13 from 4-6pm in the Grove for an evening of live bluegrass music from local musicians and mouthwatering BBQ with all the sides. Bring your appetite and bring your friends — this is a great afternoon of music, food, and fellowship. All ages are welcome!

Grief doesn't follow a schedule, and healing isn't something we're meant to walk through alone.

This September, we're offering GriefShare — a 13-week support group for anyone who has lost a loved one. Each week stands on its own, so you can join in at any point and still walk away with something meaningful. This group is open to Ridgecrest members and to anyone in our community who needs a safe place to process loss.

The session runs September 1 through November 24, with a $20 material cost.

If you've experienced the death of a family member — or you know someone who has — we'd love for you to consider this group, or pass it along to someone who needs it.

Another school year is right around the corner!

To every student stepping into a new classroom, a new grade, or a new season — and to every teacher preparing rooms, lessons, and hearts for the year ahead — we want you to hear this: "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9

Whatever this year holds, you don't walk into it alone.

Welcome back to all our college students — new and returning!

This next stretch is a big one for The Table as they kick off the school year. There will be preaching and evangelism happening on campus, a gathering kick-off here at Ridgecrest on 8/18, and a small group mixer at Traveler's on 8/21.

Would you join us in praying for this season? Pray for new students stepping onto campus for the first time, that they'd find community quickly and encounter Jesus in a new city. Pray for returning students, that this year would bring deeper roots and renewed faith. And pray for our college team as they pour into students on campus and in these gatherings — for endurance, wisdom, and open doors for the gospel.

It's a busy few weeks for The Table. Let's cover them in prayer.

Did you know our church has a thriving college ministry? It's called The Table, and it exists to reach and disciple college students right where they are.

During the school year, The Table hosts on-campus Bible studies each week and gathers here at Ridgecrest every Tuesday night for worship, teaching, and connection. They also step onto campus from time to time for worship and evangelism — creating space for students to encounter Jesus and invite their friends to do the same.

College ministry is often an unseen part of church life, but it's making a real difference in the lives of students. Would you join us in praying for The Table — for the students leading it, for the ones being reached, and for Tuesday nights to be a place where students encounter Jesus?
