Opa! The Springfield International folk Dancers participated in Date Night at UIC Performing Arts Center. It was truly an enjoyable evening of Greek music and dancing . They also had water and Greek Baklava for everyone. Our group taught two dances and had a tremendous audience participation. I have learned so much about different cultures as a dancer in this group. If this might interests you please come join us on Monday evening at 7:00 at the Hoogland Center for the Arts. We practice in Theater 2. Thank you to UIS for allowing us to enjoy this event.
