We kicked things off with our Annual Picnic at Ascutney Outdoors and wrapped things up by celebrating Sherry’s 40th Anniversary as our Executive Director! 🥳

What a wonderful afternoon in the garden! Last Friday, the Lincoln Street Inc. team gathered for a garden party to clean up, w**d, and refresh our fabulous sensory garden. We loved making this special space even more beautiful for our friends to enjoy!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Brett for his outstanding performance at the Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota! Bringing home three gold medals and one bronze in powerlifting is an incredible accomplishment that reflects countless hours of dedication, perseverance, and hard work.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported LSI's self advocacy group car wash last week ! 🚗🧽☀️

Because of your generosity, smiles, and willingness to stop by for a wash, our event was a wonderful success. We are so grateful to our staff, volunteers, and everyone in the community who helped make the day possible.

Events like these remind us how fortunate we are to be part of such a caring and supportive community. Thank you for helping us continue our mission—we couldn’t do it without you!

🌿 We’re excited to announce the development of our new Sensory Garden! 🌿

Designed to engage the senses and promote relaxation, exploration, and connection with nature, our sensory garden provides a welcoming outdoor space for all of our LSI friends to enjoy. Featuring a variety of textures, colors, scents, and natural elements, this special space encourages discovery, mindfulness, and well-being.

We are grateful to everyone who helped bring this project to life and look forward to seeing our community enjoy all that the garden has to offer. A special HUGE thank you to Bishop’s Plowing & Digging L.L.C.

Sincere thanks to LSI Board member George Lamb for sponsoring Lincoln Street Inc. to support the fundraiser at the Hartness House benefitting the Edgar May Health and Recreation Center! It was Kentucky Derby day, a lot of fun and good food was enjoyed by community members attending in support including Hudson, George, Gina and Sherry! We appreciate all the benefits the Edgar May Center offers to us!
