North School Preservation Society

North School Preservation Society The North School Preservation Society is a non-profit organization and owns the building and property at 5 School Street, North Springfield, Vermont.

For over 70 years, North Springfield Graded School met the early education needs of children living in the village of North Springfield, Vermont. But in 1984, the Springfield School District closed it down, choosing to bus students to Springfield schools in place of maintaining this neighborhood school. In 2009, the School Board decided it was time to sell off its old school properties.
