A reminder to everyone: this Saturday is our Ian Spalding Memorial Scholarship BBQ, and we hope you’ll join us for an evening centered around community, family, and keeping Ian’s memory alive.
This year’s event is FREE to attend and family friendly. Bring your family, bring your friends, and come spend the evening with the MVP community.

WHY WE DO THIS
Ian Spalding was a junior in high school when his life was tragically cut short in 2020.
Ian was spending time along the Oregon Coast, in an area where he had been just the day before. He slipped, hit his head on a rock, and was carried out into the ocean. Ian was never found.
His parents had one wish: keep Ian’s memory alive.
That is why we gather each year.
The Ian Spalding Memorial Scholarship allows Ian’s memory to continue making an impact in the lives of young people. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go toward a scholarship for a 2026 graduating senior from our program.
