Trunk or Treat 2026!

10/26/2026

🎃🐾 Springfield, you showed up for our rescue dogs—and we couldn’t be more grateful! ❤️

Our Howloween Trunk or Treat was a huge success! We had a great turnout, a lot of fun, and an evening that reminded us how much this community cares.

To our business partners and every individual who contributed, thank you for your generosity and for helping make this event possible.

To the staff, volunteers, and board members of Conrad Canine Rescue & Sanctuary: thank you for the time, hard work, and heart you put into this event—and into caring for our dogs every day. An evening like this takes a team, and we appreciate each of you.

And our biggest thank-you goes to the Springfield community. Together, you helped us raise over $2,000 to support our rescue dogs and give them a chance at a loving home and a good life. 🐶❤️

Whether you donated, bought raffle tickets, shared our posts, or brought your family out to celebrate, you helped make a difference.

Thank you for showing up, having fun with us, and standing behind our mission. We’re grateful to be part of this community! 🐾

Conrad Canine Rescue & Sanctuary is looking for a motivated, dependable person who truly loves working with dogs.

Weekend availability is a must.

This is more than just helping with daily tasks — it’s an opportunity to play a real part in giving at-risk and abandoned dogs the care, structure, attention, and second chance they deserve.

An animal-care or veterinary background is helpful, but it is not required. What matters most is a strong work ethic, compassion, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for dogs.

You’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on with the dogs, help enrich their lives, and watch them grow, heal, and prepare for the next chapter of their lives. You’ll also have the chance to learn basic obedience and dog-training skills from two of the best trainers around.

For someone who has always wanted to explore their passion for working with dogs, this can be an incredibly rewarding place to do it.

There is something special about watching a dog that came to us scared, abandoned, or unsure of the world begin to trust, learn, and thrive — and knowing you helped make that possible.

If this sounds like something you would love to be part of, reply to this post and we’ll reach out to you.
