Autumn Trails Stable, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that offers Equine-Assisted Services We have volunteer opportunities for everyone.

is a non-profit 501c3 organization that offers a therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults. We strive to promote increased confidence in our students through using horses as therapists. We like to have fun while teaching our students a riding skill and increasing their strength and stability both physically and mentally. We could not exist without amazing volunteers and donations from the community.

Our barn could use a little extra love right now. ❤️🐴

We’re grieving the loss of Beetle, who we had to say goodbye to on Saturday, while also facing veterinary expenses for Moby’s colic.

The hardest part is worrying about the horses we love. Having the bills keep climbing adds another weight, and we’re asking our community to help carry some of it.

🎃🐴 Wednesday’s Trick AND Treat Fun! 🍬🍁

That’s a wrap on another wonderful week of Halloween fun at Autumn Trails Stable, and an extra special Wednesday as we celebrated our final adaptive riding lessons of the 2026 season! ❤️

Our Wednesday participants joined in on the Trick AND Treat excitement with costumes, laughter, smiles, and plenty of fun alongside their equine partners!

While everyone was having a blast, our riders were also putting their skills to work, showing off what they’ve learned, and celebrating just how far they’ve come this season. 🐴💕

It’s always bittersweet when our riding season comes to an end. We’ve watched our participants grow in confidence, develop new skills, overcome challenges, and build incredible connections with their horses.

To our participants and families, thank you for sharing another season with us. And to our amazing volunteers and staff, thank you for the time, patience, encouragement, and heart you bring to every lesson. We truly couldn’t do this without you! ❤️

Here’s to all the memories made in 2026 and the adventures waiting for us in 2027! 🍂🐴

🎃🐴 Trick AND Treat Tuesday! 🍬🍁

It's Halloween week at Autumn Trails Stable, and it's also our FINAL week of adaptive riding lessons for the 2026 season! ❤️

Tuesday evening was filled with costumes, laughter, learning, and LOTS of fun as our participants enjoyed one of our favorite lessons of the entire year...Trick AND Treat! 🎃

Behind all the smiles and excitement, our riders were still hard at work building skills, practicing what they've learned throughout the season, and making wonderful memories with their equine partners.

There's just something special about seeing how far our participants have come, all while having so much fun they hardly realize they're learning! 🐴💕

We're soaking up every moment of this final week and celebrating another wonderful season of growth, confidence, and connection.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers and staff who help make these special lessons possible! ❤️

It has been a heartbreaking few days at Autumn Trails Stable. ❤️

On Saturday, we said goodbye to our sweet Beetle. Yesterday, Moby needed veterinary care for colic. That’s him pictured here receiving fluids. We are still having to watch him.

Along with the worry and grief, our veterinary bills continue to grow. We need help.

Our horses are family, and caring for them through illness and at the end of their lives is a responsibility we hold close. But these expenses are putting a significant strain on our small nonprofit.

Sometimes the things holding us back aren't the challenges around us, but the thoughts, fears, and expectations we carry within ourselves.

As we move through this season of change, perhaps it's time to let go of a few things that have been weighing us down.

💜 The need to always appear strong.
💜 Worrying about things beyond our control.
💜 Allowing others to drain our energy.
💜 Doubting our own strength and abilities.
💜 Feeling guilty for setting boundaries.
💜 Believing we have to have everything figured out.

Just like the trees release their leaves each fall, we can learn to release what no longer serves us.

And remember, letting go doesn't happen overnight. It's okay to take small steps, have setbacks, and try again.

✨ This week, give yourself permission to protect your peace, embrace your worth, and make room for the things that help you grow.
