This loss hurt. If you're into punk music at all, please come out to this show tonight. We goths must support our fellow subcultures, and Cody was a huge influence on a lot of the punk music you hear in Fayetteville today.

It's been almost two months since the last Gloom Room at Backroom, NWA's only goth night. When Backroom Social Club closed, we thought we were done for.

Then, a shining, weird little beacon appeared in the Fayetteville Flyer one midnight: Punk Truck Stop is opening near Dickson.

We immediately dug deeper: some cool punk rockers opened a DIY space with an all ages, late night venue space.

The bats started flying about. The spiders skittered back to their webs. The crescent moon slid into the shadow of a dark cloud. Eureka!

So, yeah! We're going back to Tara and Sara's punk roots and rebooting Gloom Room at Punk Truck Stop on Friday, September 18!

And we're bringing back our first goth night headliner, DJ 10.29 from Little Rock!
