Economic development doesn’t look the same in every community in Arkansas. For some communities, it may mean attracting a new employer or grocery store. For Springdale, it means making sure our growing community has the tools to compete for new retail, industry, and investment.

Issue 3, endorsed by the Springdale Chamber of Commerce Board, will be a transformational economic development tool. It will give communities across Arkansas the flexibility to pursue opportunities that work specifically for their local economy and its people. For Springdale, it’s about bringing more jobs, more choices for local families, and more opportunities to build a future right here at home.

Early voting is underway for the 2026 General Election.

The Chamber encourages all registered voters to cast their ballot and to join the Chamber Board by voting “YES” on Issue 3.

Our Junior Leadership Program gives ninth graders an inside look at local businesses, government, healthcare, and community organizations. They build leadership skills while exploring career paths and meeting the people shaping Springdale’s future.

So far, our Junior Leaders have visited the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, Springdale Public Library, and City of Springdale Animal Services, with plenty more experiences ahead!

What does it take to keep Springdale powered? Our educators got a hands-on look!

During a past ACES (Academy for Career Educators in Springdale) experience, local educators explored SWEPCO’s line work, bucket trucks, safety equipment, and career opportunities in the energy industry.

ACES connects Springdale educators with local businesses, bringing real world workforce knowledge back to the classroom and helping students discover career pathways right here in our community.
