Wow, wow, wow
I would’ve bet money that these two had some sort of poodle or doodle. Well I was wrong again. They are so long and their hair is poodle curly. They are more Shih Tzu then most we DNA test. 😳

Please use the link in the donation post pinned at the top of our page to support The Village’s monthly food cost of $2,000, which feeds more than 30 animals in our rescue and sanctuary.

Donations also help cover vetting and the additional food and care items our Village requires, including kefir, fresh fruits and vegetables, Young Living supplements, and the everyday supplies used here to care for everyone.

📌 THIS IS OUR PINNED DONATION POST FOR OCTOBER.

Food order update! 🐾 We raised a little over $1,500 toward our $2,000 food order, and I placed the main order with what we have. Thank you to everyone who helped us get this far! ❤️

We still have a few more boxes to add so we have enough food for the entire month, through our next delivery. They will allow us to add those remaining boxes to this same pickup this week as long as we get the rest of the money in by Monday morning.

We’re about $500 ($486) away from completing this month’s food pickup for The Village. Every contribution helps fill those last few boxes for the animals in our care. Please use the donation link in the post pinned at the top of our page to help us finish this order. Thank you for helping keep our Village fed! 🐾❤️

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I put together these photos of the babies currently here in rescue because this post is going to serve as our main fundraising post for the rest of October and probably into the beginning of November.

Facebook has limited how many posts I can make with outside links, and this is the LAST link I have available to share this month. So rather than using that final link on one fundraiser and then losing the ability to share another, I’m making this the post we can all come back to.

Anytime you see me make a post about food, medical care, a new baby coming into rescue, an emergency, or anything else happening here and I say, “The link is in the pinned post,” THIS is the post I’m talking about.

Just click our profile picture, go directly to our page, and this post will be pinned at the top. Our website is also always listed in the About section of our page, and there are other pinned fundraising posts where you can find additional ways to donate, including Venmo.

For this post, I’m using our one remaining outside link for PayPal:

https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=G49UHTTKQBJG8

This is simply our way of keeping the Village connected while Facebook continues changing how many of our posts you actually get to see. We have almost 30,000 people following this page, yet sometimes only a few hundred people ever see what we post. So I’m building us another home.

Coming soon, The Village will have its own community on the Skool app. It will be an intentional place where you can come directly into the Village without depending on Facebook to decide whether you get to see us. We’ll be able to share the babies, updates, rescue education, photos, downloads, special things for the people who support them, and so much more.

I’ll share everything about that when it’s ready.

For now, save this post in your mind as home base.

When I say “go to the pinned post,” come here.

This is where the Village can always come together for the babies. ❤️

We are about $1,000 from purchasing our monthly food order. Please consider donating to support Tzus And Mews Shih Tzu Rescue in Texas

Still Raising Funds for this months food order.

A lot has moved through the rescue over the last few days. All four babies were able to have their surgeries, which brought our surgery expenses to around $600, and we also have $200 going to Dr. Molly’s office. Between surgery, veterinary care, and everything that had to move immediately, we found ourselves back at only about $300 toward our monthly food order.

And then the flow started moving again.

This morning, we are a little over $1,000 toward the $2,000 food order that I am placing TODAY. Yesterday was technically my deadline to have the order in for pickup next week, but I believe that if I get it submitted today, I can call Monday morning and they will still honor the pickup. So today is the day I’m getting this order placed.

This is an open opportunity to help feed the Village. Every dollar that moves toward this food order becomes food in bowls for the animals who live here and the ones still moving through our rescue. Littles, Bigs, cats, chickens — everybody here eats from the same Village. And I believe they will be fed.

Facebook has limited how many posts I can make with links, and we only have ONE link-share left for the rest of this month. Because the fundraiser post with all of our donation information is already up, I’m not going to use that last link-share to repost something that is already there. I’m pinning the original fundraiser post to the top of the page, so if you’re looking for the donation links, just go directly to that pinned post.

We are a little over halfway there this morning. The food order is $2,000, and the order goes in today.

The Village gets fed.

And every person who chooses to move currency into these bowls becomes part of making that happen.
