This week, we’d like to recognize and thank the Quest Class at Spring Baptist Church for partnering with Project Love One.

Partnerships like these help make it possible for us to support vulnerable children, strengthen families, provide meals, invest in education, and continue sharing the love of Christ throughout the communities we serve in Eswatini.

We are grateful to share an important step forward in our community feeding program.

Over the past season, we have begun transitioning from solely providing emergency food assistance to creating opportunities for sustainable community support through our Work for Food Program.

Through this initiative, women in the community work in our Farming God's Way garden at the church. The food grown there helps supply our after-church feeding program, providing meals for vulnerable children and families each week.

What makes this program especially meaningful is that the women participating have asked to receive food parcels instead of cash. In this rural community, food parcels provide practical support for their families while reducing the cost and burden of traveling to the city to purchase essential supplies.

This approach not only helps strengthen food security for vulnerable families, but also creates a more sustainable foundation for the future of our feeding programs.

Most importantly, this program reflects dignity, shared responsibility, and community care. Together, we are cultivating something that will continue to nourish families for years to come.

Thank you to the women who are partnering with us in this work and to everyone who continues to support the vision of Project Love One.

The Farming God's Way co-op in Jawene recently harvested an abundant crop of sweet potatoes. The harvest has been used to support feeding programs, provide food assistance to vulnerable children and families, and generate income through local sales. The proceeds will be reinvested back into the garden, helping create long-term sustainability for the community.

🌍 What’s Happening in June?

This month, two mission teams will travel alongside Elaine to serve communities throughout Eswatini. Through outreach with our sponsored students and vulnerable families, we will:

🌱 Deliver fruit trees to families
👟 Provide school shoes for students
💧 Distribute water filters
🏠 Make home visits to our most vulnerable families
⛪ Lead church services and encourage local believers

🍽️ Through our After-Church Feeding Program, we will provide approximately 1,600 meals to vulnerable children and families in the community.

🥕 We will also deliver food parcels to 7 women participating in our new Work for Food Program, helping support their families while creating opportunities for long-term stability.

Thank you for partnering with us as we continue sharing the love of Christ through practical support, discipleship, and community outreach.

Please join us in praying for the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and other Central African nations affected by the Ebola outbreak.
We ask you to lift up in prayer those who are ill, the families grieving the loss of loved ones, and the healthcare workers courageously serving on the frontlines. Please also pray for governments, medical teams, and NGOs working tirelessly to contain and stop the spread of this devastating virus.
Lord God, we ask for Your mercy, protection, healing, and peace. Please stop the spread of Ebola in Jesus’ Name.

Our dream is to expand throughout Southern Africa—partnering with like-minded, faith-based organizations to strengthen rural communities, address food insecurity, improve nutrition, and create sustainable livelihoods through agricultural development and education.
We believe this is just the beginning.
And together, as the Love One Tribe, this vision can become reality.
