Meet Milo, the four-legged cycling companion you've been waiting for!
While his foster mom enjoys time on two wheels, Milo is always ready for the next adventure. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll, a car ride to a new destination, a game of ball in the backyard, or simply hanging out with his people, this handsome fox-red boy is happiest when he's part of the action.
At just 3 years old and 71 pounds, Milo is the perfect blend of fun and affection. He's active and playful outdoors, then settles right in at home with his toys, a comfy crate, and plenty of snuggle time. His foster mom says he has wonderful house manners, knows his basic commands, and is eager to learn more—especially when treats are involved!

🦮 OH HENRY... WE HAVE AN UPDATE 🦮
Sometimes the path to a forever home has a few unexpected turns.
Our sweet Henry, who captured so many hearts when he was recently adopted, is returning to Sunshine State Labrador Rescue. While everyone had hoped this would be his happily-ever-after, it became clear that the match was not the right fit for Henry's long-term success. The resident dog took exception to Henry, and his adopter was fearful the situation would escalate.
The good news? Henry is the same lovable, resilient boy you've all been cheering for since he was rescued from a rural Florida shelter last fall. He still has his goofy personality, his big heart, and his ability to make everyone who meets him fall in love.
Henry's return is not a reflection on him. In fact, we are incredibly grateful that his family cared enough to make the difficult decision that they felt was best for everyone involved. Sometimes finding the perfect match takes more than one try, and that's okay.
As always, SSLR stands by our dogs for life. Henry is safe, loved, and back in our care while we help him find the home that truly fits him.
Please help us welcome Henry back with words of encouragement. We know his story isn't over yet, and somewhere out there, his perfect family is still waiting to meet him. ❤️🐾

Volunteer Suzanne and Ambassador Lab Katie had a wonderful time representing SSLR at Clearwater Yacht Club- this fun-filled event and meeting so many supportive dog lovers. We are especially grateful to organizer and fellow Lab enthusiast Jenn for thinking of SSLR and helping make this opportunity possible.

Events like these help us continue our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Labrador Retrievers in need. Thank you to everyone who participated in the raffle and supported our rescue efforts.

A great evening was had by all—and Katie was delighted to soak up plenty of attention along the way! 🐶⚓️💕

Meet Lucy 🐾
Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m a sweet, affectionate girl around 3 – 4 years old who absolutely loves cuddling and soaking up belly rubs. I have a gentle heart and a playful side. I enjoy spending time playing in the yard, but I’m just as happy curling up for a nice nap afterward.
I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I warm up, I become a loyal and loving companion. My foster mom says I’m very smart and have so much potential, I just need someone patient and experienced who’s willing to continue helping me learn and grow.
I’m currently working on my manners, especially not jumping and walking nicely on a leash, so I’d do best in a home without small children or individuals who may be unsteady on their feet. With consistency and training, I know I’ll keep improving!
I get along well with other dogs and really enjoy their company, and I’m also doing great living with a cat. I’d love a home with a big, fenced yard where I can run, play, and explore safely.
My ideal home:
✔ Experienced dog owner
✔ Large fenced yard
✔ Someone patient who will continue my training
✔ A home where I can build confidence and thrive
